After
our trip to Ladakh we have spent a few days at One Link
Road Guesthouse. Mr Sanjay and his friendly wife Parul did
everything to let us have a wonderfull time. The rooms are
immaculate clean and the snacks are tasty. For my next stay
in Delhi I certainly will not have to surch for a place
to stay; One Link Road is THE PLACE TO BE!

The
Yatri House was full when I visited Delhi in October '05.
Sanjay suggested his new guesthouse in South Delhi called
ONELINKROAD. I was very comfortable there. The rooms are
tidy and clean. When I returned after my tour of Rajastan,
the staff welcomed me back with lovely hospitality. Sanjay
and his wife Parul were full of information and made me
feel welcome. It's a bit tricky to find, so be sure to take
the handy card provided with the map on the back. You will
be happy with the price and the homey atmosphere!

Un
sitio en una muy buena zona de Delhi, un poco retirado del
centro de la ciudad, pero en muy buenas condiciones, con
un servicio bueno aunque tardan en servir. El trato es adecuado.
El precio alto en comparacion con otros alojamientos, aunque
merece la pena pagar un poco mas por disfrutar de unas escelentes
condiciones. Como primer punto de partida es muy util, ya
que el responsable puede ayudarte en organizar el resto
de viaje dandote todo el tipo de facilidades a la hora de
sacar billetes de tren, avion,alquiler de coches con conductor
y aconsejarte sobre sitios de interes.

Questa
guesthouse e' certamente da consigliare, in quanto accogliente,
pulita e gestita in modo molto gentile e professionale.
Inoltre qui potrete facilmente reperire informazioni utili
e persino pianificare il viaggio in macchina con l'itinerario
prescelto. Il titolare e' una persona molto seria.
This guesthose is very comfortable and clean, in a quiet
area of new delhi; owners are very friendly, but in a professional
way. If you need an help in finding an address for a restaurant
or something like that, or even plan a tour by car, this
could be the right place.
The owner is a person in whom you can trust.

We
dealt with Sanjay in the planning of our 5 weeks stay in
India. After I (Joffrey) hurt my leg in Rishikesh, we came
back early to Delhi for a pit stop and stayed at One Link
Road (We normaly stayed at the Imperial).
The stay was just amazing! The rooms are extremely clean,
the marble is everywhere, A/C, free Internet. We had dinner
there both nights we were there and we must say it was the
best meals we had in India (better than the Spice Route!).
We will definitely come back to One Link Road next time
we're in Delhi, which we hope will be in 2 yrs.
The staff is amazing and contributes to make the place even
better. Highly recommended!

One
Link Road is an elegant oasis in the busy city of Delhi.
It's a 20 minute auto-rickshaw ride to Connaught Place,
but there are many fine markets very close to the hotel.
It feels more like a flat than a hotel; the staff is very
friendly and helpful. The food here was EXCELLENT. The rooms,
with attached bath, are clean and quite upscale. One Link
Road could be a flat in London. It is very quiet, and secure.
Our hosts, Sanjay and Parul, are very accommodating and
filled with advice about things to do and see. Parul has
a jewellery business which we took advantage of while we
were here! She also has great ins for places to shop for
women's clothing, textiles etc. We will return here and
are recommending it highly to our friends who travel to
Delhi.

costruzione , belle stanze e bel bagno, pulito, ambiente
familiare confortevole, a mezz'ora di tuk tuk da connaught
place, personale gentile ed efficiente, si puo' noleggiare
il taxi con autista per gite di uno o piu' giorni ( ad esempio
in Rajastan ), possibilita' di cenare , ottima la pasta
vegetariana ( un po' caruccia ). Contrattare per tutti i
prezzi .

Having
had two wonderful stays at Yatri House a couple of years
back, we were disappointed to arrive back in Delhi at short
notice without reservations to find Yatri, unsurprisingly
enough, fully booked. At 7am on a Sunday, after 17 hours
on a train from Varanasi, we were relieved when Sanjay came
to our rescue with news of his new venture, One Link Road,
where he had a vacant room. Half an hour later, his wife
Parul arrived and drove us across town to One Link Road
which, after a long journey, is the perfect place to arrive
- a great breakfast, followed by a hot shower with soft,
new towels, a quick nap between clean, fresh sheets on a
comfortable bed in a cool, pleasant room - sheer luxury!
What stands out about One Link Road is the quality of the
place and the attention to detail that you would normally
expect from a top-class hotel. However, in terms of value
for money, One Link Road can not be bettered - whilst it
is not cheap, it is a welcome addition to the overstretched
mid-range accommodation selection in Delhi. The location,
whilst advertised as 8 km from Connaught Place, is pleasant
enough and close to a number of interesting New Delhi locations
such as Khan Market, the Defence Colony Market and Greater
Kailash Part One. In fact, Connaught Place is only a 10
- 15 minute motorickshaw ride away and on one occasion we
made the trip for just Rs. 50 (although Rs. 60 - 70 is the
norm, depending on how much you are willing to negotiate).
Other pluses are free internet access, satellite television
in the common living / dining room and good snacks and drinks
prepared by the friendly staff. So, One Link Road, highly
recommended - thanks to Sanjay and Parul for being such
gracious and welcoming hosts, we look forward to seeing
you again soon.
